Academic Research:

During his Ph.D., Chunbo Liu was engaged in the study of novel HFSWR-coastship bistatic high frequency surface wave SIAR(Synthetic Impulse and Aperture Radar), including array signal processing, sea clutter and radio frequency interference suppression. Since 2009, Dr. Chunbo Liu has been mainly engaged in the research of optics and optoelectronics related to lidar detection and laser imaging technology.He has undertaken multiple research projects in recent years, including National Natural Science Foundation, Shaanxi Provincial Nature Fund and so on.

Research Interests:

1. Lidartechnique

The research of theories, methods and experiments onthe new system lidar (3D imaging lidar, phased array lidar, quantum lidar).

2.Optical imaging and information processing

The research of signal and information processing methods and algorithms on the new-type quantum and thermal correlation imaging,computational imaging and super-resolution imaging techniques.

3. Optical phased array technology

The research of the fast laser scanning techniques of optical phased array (optical waveguide array, optical fiber array, etc.) applied in the lidar and optoelectronic imaging system.
